David Bateman: “you always need [it]“

The Whoosh Anthology is one of those sound sets you always need but don’t always know where to find. In TV and film composing, many times I’ve needed a whoosh type of sound to end an act or add a bit more of a dynamic flair to a cue. Searching for sounds like this through you’re sample libraries can be tedious and when you’re in a hurry, a total pain in the creative membrane.

This group of audio wave files is well thought out and very creative. There are 18 folders containing many useful sounds mostly panned from left to right. The cymbal effects alone are great for a lot of different situations. There are animal,cars and underwater sounds all processed very well into whoosh effects. Overall, a really useful group of audio files that I will be using a lot this coming TV season.
